Turkmenistan and Spain outline prospects for further cooperation within the EU

An Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the European Union Sapar Palvanov held a meeting with a Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Spain to the European Union Marcos Alonso Alonso. This was reported by a press service of an Embassy of Turkmenistan in Brussels.

The sides identified four priority areas of bilateral cooperation within the framework of the European Union: transport and logistics, energy, critical raw materials, and the climate agenda.

Palvanov put forward an initiative to establish a regular discussion platform in Brussels for dialogue between ambassadors of EU member states and diplomatic representatives of the Central Asian countries. The Spanish side supported the proposal.
