An Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Japan discusses humanitarian cooperation with Princess Takamado

An Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, Atadurdy Bayramov, met with Princess Takamado, a member of the Japanese Imperial Family. This is reported by a Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The parties highly appreciated the current state of Turkmen–Japanese cooperation and held an in-depth exchange of views on key areas for the development of traditional cultural and humanitarian ties.

Atadurdy Bayramov expressed gratitude to Princess Takamado for her significant personal contribution to strengthening international friendship, expanding intercultural dialogue, and deepening humanitarian partnership.

A special emphasis during the meeting was placed on the historical significance of the two meetings between the President of Turkmenistan and Emperor Naruhito of Japan, held in 2025, which gave strong momentum to interstate partnership at the highest level.

In the context of humanitarian cooperation, the diplomat provided the Princess with detailed information on the large-scale activities of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, highlighting Turkmenistan’s commitment to high humanitarian principles and care for the younger generation.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their mutual readiness for the further diversified development of bilateral relations in strategically important areas.
