On May 25, the Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular working meeting via the digital system. During the meeting, organized with the participation of Tangryguly Atahallyyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, and the khakims of the velayats, important issues related to regional development and seasonal agricultural works were discussed. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.

At the meeting, reports from the leaders of the country's regions were heard first. The khakims of Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary velayats provided detailed information on the farming activities carried out in their regions, the care given to food crops, and the preparations for the upcoming grain harvest season. Special attention in the reports was also given to the organization of the children's summer holiday season and preparatory works for the cultural-mass celebrations to be held on the occasion of the sacred Eid al-Adha (Gurban Bayramy) holiday.

During the khakims' speeches, it was noted that inter-row cultivation, thinning, weeding, feeding with mineral fertilizers, and vegetative watering are being carried out in accordance with agrotechnical standards in the cotton fields. Along with this, it was reported that necessary measures are being taken for the uninterrupted harvesting of spring potatoes and vegetable crops, the organized continuation of rice sowing in Dashoguz velayat, and the successful implementation of the silk cocoon delivery plan in the regions.

Having heard the reports, the Head of State emphasized that the tasks currently facing the agricultural complex are highly responsible. The Honorable President ordered to prepare for the grain harvest at a high level, mobilize all possibilities to harvest the wheat crop without losses, and strictly observe agrotechnical requirements in cotton care. Specific instructions were also given to the regional leaders to ensure a high organizational level of events and celebrations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Subsequently, Tangryguly Atahallyyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Head of State on behalf of the country's agricultural workers and grain farmers for giving his blessing to start the grain harvest. The Vice-Premier reported on the coordinated work being carried out across the country in agriculture, in the cotton and food crop fields, as well as in cocoon harvesting.

Concluding the report, the Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the consistent introduction of innovative methods into production and the full compliance with agrotechnical standards are the main conditions for strengthening food abundance. The Head of State wished the meeting participants great success in effectively fulfilling their duties.
