The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met on May 25 with Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çalyk Holding, a long-standing partner of Turkmenistan in the construction sector. The meeting focused on the progress of major construction projects, according to the electronic newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age.”
Ahmet Çalık reported on the activities of his company in Turkmenistan. Currently, the construction of a large modern combined-cycle power plant on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea, as well as a powerful new urea production complex in Turkmenbashi district of Balkan velayat, is progressing rapidly.
Turkish companies operating in Turkmenistan for many years, particularly the group led by Ahmet Çalık, are involved in the construction of a number of key industrial and social facilities, including modern medical centers.
As Hero-Arkadag noted, the modernization of the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan is currently ongoing. A key requirement in this process is ensuring high construction quality and timely commissioning of the facilities.
On this occasion, Ahmet Çalık congratulated Hero-Arkadag on the successful performance of the “Galkynyş” National Equestrian Games Group at the International Ethnosport and Culture Festival in Istanbul, where it received a high award.
The businessman also stated his intention to participate in upcoming equestrian events in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and to contribute to further enhancing the fame of Akhal-Teke horses.
Hero-Arkadag emphasized that he always supports the introduction of scientifically grounded, economically efficient, and highly effective solutions in all projects implemented in Turkmenistan. In this regard, firm confidence was expressed that Çalyk Holding will continue to effectively participate in the implementation of new state and regional projects in Turkmenistan through the introduction of innovative technologies and modern equipment.
