On May 27, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the festive Eid prayer on the occasion of Eid al-Adha (Gurban Bayramy) at the Turkmenbashi Spirituality Mosque in Kipchak. Elders and foreign diplomats gathered at the venue. Following the prayer, the National Leader of the Turkmen people visited the mausoleum of the first President of the country, Saparmurat Niyazov, to pay tribute to the deceased and recite verses from the Holy Quran. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.

Later, Haji Arkadag arrived at the new 30,000-capacity mosque under construction in the city of Arkadag. There, he reviewed the projects of the facility, as well as its interior and exterior design features. The Hero-Arkadag gave advice on ensuring high quality and timely completion of the construction works, as well as maintaining environmental well-being.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people gave a sacrificial sadaqah (charity lunch) at the city's "Markaw" hotel with the participation of foreign diplomats and elders. During the sadaqah, prayers were offered for the prosperity of the country and the happy life of the people, and verses from the Quran were recited.
