On June 1, a President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree establishing a State Organizing Committee to ensure the high-level preparation and conduct of international competitions of global significance. The document was adopted with the aim of enhancing the worldwide renown of the country's celebrated “heavenly” horses, which are regarded as a source of national pride, embody the noble aspirations of the Turkmen people, and constitute a treasured national heritage. It also seeks to ensure proper preparations for international equestrian sports competitions and world-class horse beauty contests.
