In Turkmenistan, the 2026 grain harvest campaign, a crucial stage for the agricultural sector, kicked off on June 3. On this occasion, festive ceremonies were held in the Akhal, Lebap, and Mary velayats, attended by heads of relevant departments, leading agricultural workers, and respected elders. This was reported by the electronic newspaper Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

This year, our grain producers have grown a rich harvest. Modern grain harvesters and high-performance transport equipment, operated by experienced machine operators, will be involved in the reaping.

During this period, mobile mechanical repair teams will serve the grain growers around the clock, providing them with everything they need, including fuel, lubricants, and spare parts. The laboratories of the "Türkmenstandartlary" Main State Service are also fully prepared, with specialists using the latest equipment to promptly determine the quality of the grain coming from the fields.

On the occasion of the start of the harvest, production and training seminars were held in the velayats, where a wide range of issues regarding the organized conduct of the harvest and ensuring the well-coordinated work of the grain harvesting conveyor were discussed.

To mark this important event, performances reflecting ancient agricultural traditions, as well as exhibitions of agricultural products, bakery goods, and modern agricultural machinery, were organized near the wheat fields.
