Mass cycling events dedicated to World Bicycle Day are being held by Embassies, permanent missions to international organizations, and consulates of Turkmenistan abroad. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Thus, in honor of World Bicycle Day, the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the French Republic in Paris organized a mass bicycle race timed to World Bicycle Day. During the event, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Maksat Charyev, noted that today's action brought together representatives of different nationalities around the values of sports, friendship, a healthy lifestyle, and care for the environment.

Furthermore, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia held a bicycle race; Ambassador Dovletgeldi Seyitmammedov noted that World Bicycle Day, established by the UN at the initiative of Turkmenistan, contributes to strengthening public interest in cycling, developing a culture of active recreation, and shaping a careful attitude towards the environment.

Sports events were also held in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
