A President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Adil Karimli, a Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who is currently visiting our country. As noted during the meeting, cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan is actively developing across political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian dimensions. Cultural and humanitarian interaction occupies a special place on the bilateral agenda. In this regard, the parties emphasized the importance of joint cultural events, which facilitate an active exchange of experience in various fields of culture and art. Noting the successful holding of the Days of Turkmen Culture in the Republic of Azerbaijan in October last year, the Head of State stated that such cultural contacts contribute to bringing our nations closer together and strengthening friendly relations between the two countries. «Following this fine tradition, this year the Days of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan are being held in Turkmenistan, in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag. Our country warmly welcomes a large delegation consisting of figures of culture and art from Azerbaijan», said the President of Turkmenistan. Expressing confidence that the shared historical and cultural heritage will serve as a solid foundation for deepening the interstate dialogue, the President of Turkmenistan reaffirmed our country's commitment to further cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan.
