On June 4, 2026, the grand opening of the Days of Turkmen Culture in the Russian Federation took place at the Moscow State Academic Theater «Russkaya Pesnya». This was reported by a press service of a Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. A delegation from Turkmenistan, which included cultural figures and masters of arts—including popular artists, opera soloists, pop singers, leading musical and dance ensembles, as well as media representatives—arrived in Moscow to participate in the events. In the theater foyer, guests of this vibrant celebration of mutual enrichment of national cultures were greeted by stands and display cases featuring exhibits of national jewelry, museum treasures, as well as decorative, applied, and fine arts. The display presented items from the collections of a State Museum of a State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and a Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan, showcasing the history and artistic heritage of the Turkmen people. Visitors to the exhibition showed great interest in the skillfully adorned traditional women's clothing, jewelry, and samples of hand embroidery and carpets. Turkmen artists introduced the audience to examples of folklore, as well as contemporary classical and pop art, presenting national vocal performances and dances. They captivated the audience with their virtuosic execution of folk melodies on authentic string and wind instruments. The event became a colorful highlight and was received with great delight by the numerous spectators.
