Turkmenistan participates in the Termez Dialogue Meeting in Tashkent

From June 4 to 6, 2026, Tashkent is hosting the second meeting of the Termez Dialogue on connectivity between Central and South Asia. The event brings together representatives of government agencies, international organizations, and think tanks from Europe, the CIS, the Americas, the Middle East, Central Asia, and South Asia. This was reported by a press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
A delegation from Turkmenistan is also taking part in the event. The delegation includes representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The forum's main focus is on strengthening interregional cooperation, developing transport and transit connectivity, expanding trade and economic ties, ensuring energy security, and establishing sustainable logistics routes between Central and South Asia.
Participants are also addressing the climate agenda, the rational use of water resources, environmental safety, and human capital development. The discussions highlight the importance of expanding educational and scientific cooperation, training qualified personnel, and implementing modern digital solutions.
