At the Government meeting held via a digital system under the chairmanship of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the outcomes of the construction and industrial complex's performance for January–May 2026 were summarized. At the meeting, Vice-Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov provided detailed information on the results of production and construction operations carried out during the reporting period. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age". As noted, during the reporting period, the overall plan for production and services rendered by the construction and industrial complex was fulfilled at the level of 130,1%. Breaking down by sectors, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture managed to fulfill the plan by 106,3%, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production by 126,7%, and the Ministry of Energy by 107,5%. Concurrently, the Ministry of Automobile Roads fulfilled its plan by 110,6%, while this indicator stood at 152,7% for the "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern. The plan fulfillment for the Ashgabat City Chancellery reached 130,1%, representing the successful implementation of the designated tasks for the development of our capital. After hearing the report, the Honorable President drew attention to the necessity of ensuring that production enterprises of the construction and industrial complex operate at their full capacity. The Head of State set tasks to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply to domestic consumers and the population, and to further strengthen control over the quality of road construction and maintenance. Along with this, the Vice-Prime Minister was instructed to maintain strict control over the high-quality and timely completion of all buildings and facilities scheduled to be commissioned within the current year.
