The President of Turkmenistan signed a relevant Decree aiming to ensure the equal participation of men and women in the socio-economic, socio-political, and cultural-humanitarian life of the country. This document, along with demonstrating the state's commitment to international obligations, is aimed at further strengthening gender equality in practice. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age». Based on the document, the «National Action Plan for Gender Equality in Turkmenistan for 2026–2030» was officially approved. The new program aims to further expand the opportunities created for women and men in the Epoc of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State. According to the Decree signed by the Head of State, all ministries, departmental management bodies, as well as local executive and self-government authorities were instructed to ensure the timely and full implementation of the measures outlined in the plan.
