The city of Nukus in Uzbekistan became a hub for businesswomen working in the tourism sector of Central Asian countries. A delegation from Turkmenistan participated in the III International Forum «Women in tourism-2026» held there, presenting the country's tourism potential and exchanging experience at the regional level. This was reported by an International Information Centre of Turkmenistan.
The main discussions focused on analysing current issues in the development of the tourism industry, establishing new business contacts, and creating joint regional projects. Participants highly appreciated the role of women's entrepreneurship in enhancing the tourism appeal of Central Asia.
A specialised exhibition and B2B meetings organised within the forum created favourable conditions for Turkmen representatives to find new partners and expand investment cooperation. As a result of business negotiations, a number of important agreements were reached on diversifying tourist routes and strengthening trade interaction.
