A President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution instructing the State Association of the Food Industry and the administration (häkimlik) of Mary velayat to ensure the production of a bountiful sugar beet harvest in the districts (etraps) of the said region, applying scientifically grounded crop rotation in accordance with agrotechnical requirements. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

The document was adopted with the aim of successfully fulfilling the set objectives for the development of the country's agriculture, further increasing the volumes of agricultural and food products, as well as creating guaranteed food abundance.
