US Deputy Secretary of State summarized the results of her visit to Turkmenistan

US Deputy Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sara B. Rogers has summarized the results of her visit to Turkmenistan. During an online briefing for media representatives, the diplomat outlined the key areas of bilateral cooperation. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

One of the main topics of discussion during Sara Rogers' tour of Central Asia was advanced technologies. According to the Deputy Secretary of State, American technology companies and major investors are showing concrete interest in partnership in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

"The topic of AI and data centers came up in virtually every conversation, including meetings with ministry heads. I am encouraged and not at all surprised by Turkmenistan's interest in this area. The country's government is striving for technological progress and prosperity, and American companies are always ready to provide the necessary technologies for AI development," the American official said.

During the visit, particular attention was paid to educational projects. Specifically, Rogers mentioned the development of a joint Master of Business Administration (MBA) program between Kent State University (USA) and the Turkmen side.

The diplomat's visit also included a cultural program demonstrating respect for Turkmenistan's historical heritage. Sara B. Rogers visited a State Museum of the State Cultural Center of the country, where she was familiarized with the restoration of a unique artifact — a 5th-century Buddha head.

Following the meeting with journalists, Sara B. Rogers expressed confidence in the further development of American-Turkmen relations, noting that the foundation for multilateral dialogue remains solid and promising.
