A solemn ceremony for the awarding of diplomas to scholars who received the degrees of Doctor of Sciences and Candidate of Sciences was held at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. The event was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

The central event of the ceremony was the announcement of the decisions to confer upon the President of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Political Sciences Serdar Gurbangulyyevich Berdimuhamedov the academic title of Professor in Economics and Political Sciences, as well as his election as a full member of the Academy of Sciences of the country.

On behalf of the scientific community of Turkmenistan, warm congratulations were extended to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero-Serdar on the occasion of Science Day and the conferment of the highest academic titles upon the head of state. The participants expressed their readiness to continue dedicating all their knowledge and experience to the prosperity of the country.
