Doctors from Turkmenistan participated in the international forum of pediatric orthopedic surgeons from CIS countries

The II International Forum «White Nights of Orthopedics of the CIS Countries» concluded its work in Saint Petersburg at the National Medical Research Center (NMRC) of Pediatric Traumatology and Orthopedics named after G. I. Turner. Leading doctors from eight Commonwealth states, including Turkmenistan, took part in the event. This was reported by the International Information Centre of Turkmenistan.

The main goal of the meeting was the harmonization of healthcare standards and the exchange of best practices. The forum's program included master classes in operating rooms, where experts demonstrated modern methods of treating systemic pathologies using 3D modeling and minimally invasive technologies.

The forum resulted in strengthened scientific cooperation, including the launch of joint projects on the application of innovative biocompatible implants. Participants agreed to establish a cross-border consultation system for complex patients and to expand continuing professional education programs.

Particular attention from foreign specialists was drawn to a unique Russian rib-vertebral metal construction for the treatment of severe spinal deformities. Rozygeldy Nazarov, Turkmenistan's chief pediatric traumatologist-orthopedist, expressed hope for the earliest possible introduction of this St. Petersburg development in his home country.
