On June 17, an Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov took part in the opening ceremony of the MedHealth & Beauty Expo 2026 exhibition, organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in Islamabad. This was reported by a press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.

The opening ceremony was attended by a Minister of Health of Pakistan, the Minister of Railways, as well as ambassadors of a number of countries accredited in Pakistan.

The exhibition brought together leading companies and organizations working in the field of healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry, medical technologies, wellness services and the beauty industry, providing an effective platform for showcasing innovative products, services and the latest developments in the sector.

During the event, representatives of several major pharmaceutical companies of Pakistan held meetings with the Ambassador Movlamov and expressed interest in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan. The parties noted the existence of significant opportunities for the development of joint projects in the pharmaceutical sector.
