Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seyidova on June 20 reported at a government meeting on the Procedure of the main events planned for July of the current year. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

As was reported, celebrations and other events have been planned in honour of the motto of 2026 "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses" and the 35th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Fatherland.

With the aim of popularising various types of decorative and applied arts and crafts, and embroidery traditions, events under the name "Milli mirasymyz dowamat dowam" will be organised in the coming month. Educational excursions "Taryhy ýadygärlikleriň ata-babalarymyzdan miras galan gymmatlyklary öwrenmekdäki ähmiýeti" to historical and cultural monuments, meetings with archaeologists, and conferences will also take place.

In addition, in July in the cities of Arkadag and Ashgabat, as well as in the Ahal, Balkan and Dashoguz velayats, it is planned to hold the final rounds of the television competition among amateur young singers "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!", as well as the final stage of the creative competition announced among craftswomen "Gülüň owadan!", and an exhibition.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised that numerous celebrations are being held in 2026, and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the events scheduled for July, ensuring a high level of their organisation.
