Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmurat Seyitmammedov met with Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili on June 24, 2026. The meeting was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden Age».

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of bilateral cooperation in the financial and economic sphere and prospects for its further development. Particular attention was paid to expanding investment interaction, developing the banking sector and improving the tax system.

The parties also emphasized the importance of strengthening trust between the financial institutions of the two countries and confirmed their readiness to maintain regular contacts.
