As part of the Culture Week in Balkan velayat, a number of events were held aimed at promoting various forms of art and artistic creativity. This was reported by the online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».
In the morning, the participants of the Culture Week took a sea trip across the Caspian Sea. This gave representatives of the creative community the opportunity to admire the beautiful view of the National Tourist Zone «Awaza», which has undergone significant transformation in recent years, as well as the natural beauty of this corner of the country and its sea landscapes.
Various events of the Week continued at the Historical and Local History Museum of the Balkan Velayat, where an exhibition of fine and decorative applied art titled «Sungat gözelligi – ylham çeşmesi» was organized. The works on display impressed visitors with their diversity of artistic styles and mastery of execution.
As part of the Week, performances by children's creative ensembles were held at the Cultural and Sports Complex of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of the State concern «Türkmennebit». The concert programme «Bagtyýar nesilleriň owazy», presented by young performers from the Balkan Velayat, left an unforgettable impression on those gathered.
A meeting with prominent masters also took place there, during which they shared their extensive experience and offered valuable advice to the young performers — an event that proved to be a significant moment in the lives of aspiring artists seeking to realize their creative potential.
The summing up of the creative competition «Şadyýan şahandazlar», organized among the country's folk theatres as part of the Culture Week in Balkan velayat, rounded off the series of current events.
The awards ceremony for the winners of the creative competition among folk theatres was held at the State Drama Theatre named after the Great Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi of the Balkan Velayat. During the ceremony, high praise was given to the artistry of the performers who have devoted their lives to their chosen profession, as well as to their stage portrayals.
The traditionally held annual Culture Week continued with a festive concert organized at the Palace of Culture of Oil Workers named after Saparmuyrat Turkmenbashi in the city of Balkanabat, featuring masters of culture and art from Lebap and Mary velayats, which served as the culmination of the third day of the cultural celebration.
