The Turkmen brand Gowher Gouvernet presented its collection at the international fashion show Tanger Fashion Week 2026 in Tangier, Morocco. This was reported by the online newspaper "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

Tanger Fashion Week 2026 took place on June 20 at the Fairmont Tazi Palace and brought together designers, representatives of the fashion industry, members of the press, and buyers from various countries.

Earlier, at the beginning of June, a major fashion show was held in Ashgabat as part of the International Exhibition and Fair "Turkmentextile Expo – 2026." At this venue, Gowher Pirkulieva-Gouvernet presented the collection "In the Footsteps of the Silk Road," created especially for the event.

In recent years, the Turkmen designer's collections have been presented at a number of fashion events in Europe and the Middle East, including Haute Couture Week in Paris, the Oriental Fashion Show in Azerbaijan, and cultural events at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

In her collections, designer Gowher Pirkulieva-Gouvernet organically combines traditional Turkmen ornaments, jewellery, and weaving traditions with contemporary fashion trends. Her works preserve examples of national heritage while simultaneously meeting the demands of the international fashion market.
