The Day of Cultural and Art Workers of Turkmenistan Was Celebrated in Kyiv

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine on June 25, 2026, held solemn events dedicated to the Day of Cultural and Art Workers of Turkmenistan and the poetry of the great thinker and classical poet Magtymguly Fragi. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The program was opened by a solemn flower-laying ceremony at the monument to Magtymguly Fragi in Kyiv, which brought together representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the foreign diplomatic corps, state authorities, scientific circles, creative intelligentsia, and students.

The participants of the event noted that this monument is a symbol of long-standing friendship, mutual respect, and strong cultural and humanitarian ties between the peoples of the two countries.

The celebration continued with an official reception at the building of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan. Speaking to the guests, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Toyly Atayev, emphasized that the current year, passing under the motto "Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds," is marked by preparations for the 35th anniversary of the country's independence.

A welcoming speech from the Ukrainian side was delivered by a representative of the Central Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, who confirmed the high interest in the progressive development of multi-vector bilateral cooperation.
