The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Nokerguly Atagulyyev, on June 26, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, reported on the practical steps being taken to establish new production facilities in the textile industry. This was reported by the electronic newspaper Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
As reported, comprehensive work is currently underway at the cotton spinning factory in the city of Dashoguz to manufacture various types of products through the processing of textile industry waste. This will contribute to increasing the production of import-substituting products, saturating the domestic consumer market, enhancing the export potential of the industry, and creating new jobs.
In this regard, the Vice-Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal to the Head of State for consideration.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that effective work is being carried out in the country to develop the textile industry. Along with this, high-quality products are manufactured at modern enterprises of this sector. Approving the proposal to put a new production facility into operation at the cotton spinning factory in the city of Dashoguz, the Head of State addressed a number of instructions to the Vice-Prime Minister.
