President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated compatriots on the third anniversary of the city of Arkadag, which is a model of modern architecture. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

"The city of Arkadag, known in the world for its unique beauty, advanced technologies, and unique national architecture, symbolizes the economic prosperity of our country, its high authority, and the prosperous life of the people. This clearly confirms the fact that over three years the city of Arkadag has received prestigious international certificates and awards for high performance within the framework of the urban development program, innovative potential, and ecological level," the Head of State noted.

"The city of Arkadag is one of the most ecologically clean and beautiful cities in the world. In accordance with the 'Concept of Development of the City of Arkadag for 2024–2052', the construction of the second phase of the 'smart' city is being carried out at an accelerated pace. These works are being implemented for the sake of a happy life, well-being, and a bright future of our people.

The city of Arkadag – the first 'smart' city in the history of the country – has also become a well-known center of charitable activity. The celebration on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the formation of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was filled with solemn, deeply meaningful events. The fact that the modern mosque being built in the city recently received the name 'Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi' also testifies to the fact that charitable activity here is flourishing, ensuring the continuity of the traditions of our people," the President emphasized.

The Head of State wished compatriots and residents of the city of Arkadag good health, family well-being, and success in work.
