On June 29, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atahallyev and the hyakims of the velayats, at which the progress of work in the country's agricultural complex and in the regions was reviewed. This was reported by the online newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

The hyakims of the Akhal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary velayats first of all, on behalf of all residents of the regions, extended their best wishes to Hero-Arkadag on the occasion of his birthday and congratulated the President of the country and Hero-Arkadag on the anniversary of the opening of the city of Arkadag.

The progress of seasonal campaigns in the velayats was then reported. As stated, work is underway to harvest wheat grown in the country and to properly store the crop. Settlements with grain producers are being made on time.

In the cotton fields, care is being carried out in accordance with agrotechnical standards, in particular inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilizer application, and irrigation.

In line with the tasks set for further strengthening the country's food security, the harvesting and transportation of the collected melon and vegetable crop to the regions continues.

Also, as part of seasonal agricultural work, care of the rice fields is being carried out in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, while in the Mary velayat, sugar beet sowing is underway.

Summing up the reports, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the country is at the final stage of the grain harvest, and in this regard instructed that control be ensured over wheat harvesting activities without losses, as well as over cotton care.

Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the Head of State once again emphasized the current seasonal work, noting the need to take measures for the effective completion of the grain harvesting campaign and timely cotton care in accordance with agrotechnical standards, giving a number of specific instructions.
