On June 29, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received a number of heads of foreign companies: Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Çalik Holding group of companies; Erman Ilıcak, Chairman of the Board of Rönesans Holding; Jeong Won-ju, Chairman of the Board of Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.; Eiji Hosoi, President, CEO, and Representative Director of Toyo Engineering Corporation; and Kenji Sanada, Vice President of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. This was reported by the online newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
During the bilateral meetings, the guests thanked the President of Turkmenistan for the time given to them and sincerely congratulated him on the third anniversary of the opening of the "smart" city of Arkadag.
The heads of the companies also noted the success of the far-sighted socio-economic reforms being carried out in Turkmenistan, initiated by Hero-Arkadag, and, taking the opportunity, asked the Head of State to convey heartfelt congratulations to Hero-Arkadag on the occasion of his birthday.
The Head of State, for his part, noted that Turkmenistan highly values its friendly and mutually beneficial relations with foreign countries. A clear confirmation of this is the effective activity of major foreign companies in various spheres of our country.
During the meetings, issues of developing cooperation in key areas of bilateral interaction were also discussed.
