On July 1, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev, who arrived in our country on an official visit. Highlighting that great importance is attached to stable good-neighborly relations, the guest conveyed warm greetings from the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The Head of State expressed confidence that the upcoming regular consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries would further strengthen mutual friendship. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and cooperation within the framework of prestigious international organizations such as the UN and OSCE, as well as the "Central Asia +" format.
During the conversation, the significance of the intergovernmental commission's work in increasing cooperation in the economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres was highly emphasized. At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides stressed that Turkmen-Kazakh relations would continue to flourish for the benefit of both nations and exchanged their best wishes.
