A festive sadaka (charity dinner) was given in the city of Balkanabat, Balkan Velayat, to mark the labor success of the region's grain growers and the naming of the mosque under construction in the city of Arkadag as the "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi" (Spiritual Mosque of Arkadag). The event was attended by members of public organizations, religious figures, respected elders, and numerous youth, as reported by the electronic newspaper Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
As noted during the festive sadaka, the recent naming of the mosque—being built as part of the second phase of Arkadag city's construction—as "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi", which took into account numerous requests and proposals from the public, demonstrates that charitable activities are thriving in our country and national traditions and customs are being worthily continued. This is yet another confirmation that noble initiatives driven by humanitarian principles lead to success.
The fact that the date of the festive sadaka coincided with the news of the successes achieved by the hardworking grain growers of our country further elevated the level and significance of the event.
At the conclusion of the festive meal, representatives of the clergy recited the tovir prayer. They prayed for the "Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi" mosque to become a center of humanitarian traditions, for the noble labor of our country's farmers (daikhans) to be crowned with immense achievements, and for the good health, longevity, and success of the great initiatives of the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who tirelessly care for the well-being of the Motherland and the happy life of our people.
