A briefing was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan dedicated to preparations for the World Equestrian Championship and beauty contest for Akhal-Teke horses, scheduled to take place in September of this year in the city of Kronenberg (Kingdom of the Netherlands). This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

As the speakers emphasized, thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the world fame of Akhal-Teke horses, which have become the national pride of the Turkmen people and a standard of unsurpassed beauty, is reaching a new level. The announcement of this year's motto, "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds," has contributed to the further promotion on the international stage of the rich and distinctive national historical and cultural heritage, which has taken its rightful place among universal human values.

It was noted that the international events planned for this year are aimed at strengthening friendship and trust between countries and peoples through the effective use of the instruments of cultural and sports diplomacy.

The relevant ministries and agencies of the country are taking consistent steps to ensure the participation of the Turkmen delegation in the World Equestrian Championship and the beauty contest of "heavenly" steeds, as well as to create all the conditions for the successful performance of Turkmenistan's Akhal-Teke horses in the city of Kronenberg. It was emphasized that within the framework of the planned celebrations, special importance is attached to promoting worldwide the cultural values, traditions and customs of the Turkmen people, as well as the achievements of our Fatherland in the economic and socio-cultural spheres in the new historical epoch.
