A briefing dedicated to the World Equestrian Championship and the Beauty Contest among Akhal-Teke horses was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This large-scale forum is scheduled to be held from September 4 to 6, 2026, at the popular equestrian complex "Peelbergen" in the city of Kronenberg (Netherlands). This was reported by an online newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden age".

"The upcoming championship in Europe opens up exceptional opportunities for demonstrating to the world the richest Turkmen culture, centuries-old traditions, and modern achievements of domestic horse breeding, as well as the highest skill of national producers and artisans," Ahmed Berdiyev, Chairman of the State Association "Türkmen atlary," said at the briefing.

Berdiyev paid special attention to the structure and content of the exhibition and fair zones, which will unfold on the territory of the complex.

The "Türkmen atlary" pavilion will be dedicated to the multifaceted activities of the industry. Here, visitors will be able to get acquainted with the achievements of Turkmenistan in the field of pedigree breeding, preservation of the gene pool, and will also learn about the rules for caring for Akhal-Teke horses and the measures being taken for their popularization.

The pavilion of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan is designed to reflect the deep spiritual heritage of the people, their historical and cultural values, and the dynamic development of modern national art. An exposition of jewelry and applied arts will be presented here, which will become one of the central elements of the exhibition. Visitors will get acquainted with unique examples of national jewelry, elements of traditional horse harness with characteristic ornaments from different regions of the country, as well as paintings and sculptures celebrating the unsurpassed beauty of the "heavenly" horses.

"To demonstrate the unique skills of interaction between a human and their friend – the horse, a separate specialized zone with an arena will be equipped within the exhibition space. Demonstrations by the world-famous Group of National Equestrian Games «Galkynyş» are planned on this platform. The audience will see the most complex elements of dzhigitovka (trick riding), stunt art, and classical dressage," the head of the association shared.

Summarizing the program of the upcoming forum, Berdiyev placed special emphasis on the fact that holding a large-scale exhibition-fair in the very heart of Europe will make a significant contribution to strengthening the international image of Turkmenistan as a state with a glorious history, the richest cultural heritage, and the highest level of professional competence in one of the oldest spheres of humanity – the sphere of horse breeding.
