On July 3, a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers was held via a digital system under the chairmanship of Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to discuss a number of important issues related to priority areas of state life. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The meeting provided information on the ongoing measures to improve national legislation and international relations. Currently, new draft laws are being prepared regarding the state registration of rights to real estate and introducing modern amendments to certain codes. It was also noted that parliamentary representatives participated in experience-sharing events in countries such as China and Austria, as well as in seminars organized by the UN Children's Fund and the European Union. The Head of State emphasized the necessity of further strengthening the country's legal framework and legislative activity.
In the economic and financial sectors, it was reported that projects to maintain macroeconomic stability, improve the living standards of the population, and create innovative industries are ongoing. Specific instructions were given to the Government members on further improving the fiscal system and ensuring sustainable economic growth.
New proposals were discussed to strengthen the material and technical base of the fuel and energy complex and to ensure an uninterrupted supply of modern equipment to production facilities. These proposals were supported by the Honorable President, who instructed the relevant work to be carried out.
In the agricultural sector, a report was presented on the progress of current seasonal works, particularly the organized completion of the grain harvest, transportation of the crop to warehouses, and preparation of lands for next year's sowing. Instructions were also given to tend to the fields sown with cotton, rice, and sugar beet in accordance with agrotechnical standards, and to use water resources efficiently.
A proposal aimed at developing the chemical industry and making efficient use of local raw materials was approved, specifically regarding the establishment of a new innovative production line at the Balkanabat Iodine Plant. Relevant tasks were set to increase cooperation with foreign companies and produce export-oriented goods.
With the aim of developing trade and economic relations, a report was delivered on the preparations for the second meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Business Council to be held in Dushanbe. Representatives of various ministries and entrepreneurs of the country are expected to participate in this event.
The meeting highlighted the research work carried out to study cultural heritage and restore historical monuments, as well as the measures taken to create a digital database in cooperation with foreign scientists. It was noted that special training seminars were organized to promote national values among the youth.
To ensure modern recreation and health strengthening for the population in the country's health resorts, instructions were given to intensify efforts to improve the quality of healthcare services and equip medical institutions with modern, innovative equipment.
With the objective of developing a modern digital economy, a proposal was approved to launch the "Digital Solution — 2026" innovative project competition among young people in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, "smart" city technologies, and others. The results of the competition will be announced during the "Turkmentel — 2026" international exhibition.
