A solemn conference dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held in Ashgabat. Along with state and public figures of the country, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions working in Turkmenistan attended the event marking this landmark date. During the forum, the speech delivered by Chinar Rustemova, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, drew particular attention of the audience. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper.
In her address, Chinar Rustemova highly praised the historical path traversed by China under the leadership of the CPC and outlined the key areas of bilateral relations. She emphasized that the achievements of the People's Republic of China, which has now become one of the world's leading industrial nations, are rooted in strict discipline, hard work, and traditions of unity. She also noted that public interests in the country are always prioritized over personal ones, and regarding the individual as the highest value forms the core of the party's humanitarian policy.
It was noted that as a result of large-scale socio-economic reforms implemented over more than a century, the living conditions of more than a billion Chinese people have fundamentally improved, and the country has successfully transformed into a leading technological state. In foreign policy, the global initiatives put forward by the CPC, particularly the "Belt and Road" project aimed at building a shared future for mankind, were said to play a significant role in shaping a multipolar world.
Turkmenistan does not limit itself to merely supporting these international initiatives but actively participates in their practical implementation. The speech re-emphasized the views of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, regarding the seamless alignment of the national concept "Revival of the Great Silk Road" with China's "Belt and Road" initiative. Based on mutually beneficial cooperation, these two giant projects contribute to transforming the Eurasian space into a powerful financial and logistics hub, directly boosting the well-being of the region's peoples.
In the modern era, bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China has become exemplary. The foundation of the achieved milestones lies in the high level of political trust established between the leaders of the two states. It is this very trust that opens up broad opportunities for the comprehensive development of long-term and strategic partnership for the benefit of the peoples of both countries in the future.
