In his congratulatory message to the courageous grain growers, leaseholders, mechanizers, and all agricultural workers of the country, the Honorable President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, cordially congratulated them on the successful fulfillment of their contractual obligations and the harvest of over 1 million 400 thousand tons of high-quality wheat. The Head of State specifically emphasized that this high milestone is the fruit of the united and dedicated labor of farmers, private producers, and scientists. As the Honorable President emphasized, modernizing the agricultural sector, which is one of the vital pillars of the national economy, and turning it into one of the most profitable industries is a top priority of state policy. Currently, with the aim of strengthening the material and technical base of the agro-industrial complex, as well as conserving water and land resources, advanced machinery from around the world is regularly purchased, and large-scale investments are directed toward the construction of local fertilizer production and processing enterprises.

The congratulatory letter noted that combining our ancestors' rich farming experience with modern science has led to the development of new disease-resistant and high-yielding crop varieties at the research institutes of grain growing and cotton growing. The Head of State expressed firm confidence that the precious harvested grain would be gathered without waste and that the foundation for next year's bountiful harvest is already being firmly laid today. He wished all agricultural workers robust health, family well-being, and new achievements.
