Turkmenistan has approved the 2026 admission plan for the country's higher education institutions by velayats (provinces), the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as the admission plan for secondary vocational schools.

According to the «Türkmenistan» newspaper, under the new plan, the number of students to be admitted to higher education institutions this year will exceed 18,000, which is 1,239 more applicants than last year.

The admission campaign for the country's higher and secondary vocational education institutions will be organized from July 13 to August 24, 2026.

Entrance examinations for admission will be held at the locations of the respective higher and secondary vocational educational institutions.
