The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty dedicated to the preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence and the holding of the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty. The participants discussed organizational matters, the coordination of state bodies' activities, and the preparation of documents required for holding the nation-wide forum. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to preparing the festive events for the anniversary of independence, organizing the work of the Organizing Committee, as well as the issues of nominating citizens who have achieved high results in various fields for state awards and honorary titles. In addition, tasks regarding the media coverage of the upcoming events and conducting explanatory work among the population were reviewed.

The implementation of the country's socio-economic development programs, the advancement of digitalization, the modernization of key economic sectors, the creation of new jobs, and the improvement of the population's living standards were also discussed. The need to further strengthen international cooperation and promote Turkmenistan's policy of permanent neutrality was particularly emphasized.
