As part of preparations for the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, spoke at a recent meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty. He instructed relevant officials to analyze measures planned for the upcoming year to maintain stable economic indicators, develop key industries, invest in new production facilities, and further improve the population's standard of living.

This work is to be carried out in accordance with the Program «Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State: National Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022–2052» and the «Program of the President of Turkmenistan for Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028».

In this context, the key policy goals in this direction include job creation, improving public health, increasing life expectancy, advancing youth policy, and ensuring social protection for the population.

At the same time, the Hero-Arkadag advocated for continued efforts to introduce new teaching methods and specialist training. He also emphasized developing the pharmaceutical industry and modernizing industrial sectors—specifically oil and gas, chemicals, construction, energy, textiles, and agriculture, including food security initiatives.

«Strengthening the cohesion and unity of the people, ensuring the well-being, and further enhancing the power of our independent, permanently neutral state are the main goals and key tasks of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. Along with this, focusing on actively involving the general public in implementing the country's adopted programs and drafting proposals must remain a priority», the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized in his speech.
