On July 18, during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held via a digital system under the chairmanship of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Vice-Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov submitted the draft of the new Regulations, prepared to improve the country's state insurance system, to the Head of State for consideration. This was reported by an online newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden age".

To further develop the national insurance system and regulate compulsory state insurance in line with modern requirements, the State Insurance Organization of Turkmenistan, together with relevant ministries and line agencies, drafted the corresponding Regulations. This document was prepared in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of Turkmenistan," adopted in November 2025.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the productive nature of the ongoing work to develop the insurance sector in the country and consistently improve the regulatory legal acts in this field, giving specific instructions to further strengthen the regulatory framework of the compulsory state insurance system.
