On July 23, a meeting took place between Batyr Rejepov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Erzhan Birzhanov, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the customs and tax spheres, including the development of interaction between relevant agencies, as well as strengthening transit-transport and trade-economic cooperation between the two states.

Following the meeting, the mutual interest in further expanding cooperation and continuing interaction on matters of mutual interest was confirmed.
