On July 24, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a Cabinet of Ministers meeting via digital system, at which a number of state issues were reviewed. During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov reported on the activities of the Ministry of Energy aimed at increasing production capacity and introducing modern technologies. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
As reported, measures are currently being taken to increase the production capacity of enterprises under the Ministry's authority, to reliably supply electricity to consumers across the country, and to introduce modern technologies and equipment into production. This contributes to strengthening Turkmenistan's energy potential, exporting certain volumes of electricity abroad, and establishing new production facilities.
Summarizing the report, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the power industry is being effectively developed in the country and its material and technical base is being strengthened. In this regard, the head of state instructed the deputy prime minister to continue work on supplying electricity to domestic consumers.
