On July 27, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran Farzaneh Sadegh Malvajerd, who arrived in Turkmenistan on a visit. During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues regarding the development of bilateral strategic and economic partnership. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

The guest conveyed warm greetings to the Head of State and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, from President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian. The interlocutors emphasized the high dynamics of cooperation in the fuel and energy, transport and communications sectors, as well as in construction and agriculture.

Special attention was paid to the key role of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in implementing high-level agreements and expanding contacts between the business structures of both countries.
