On July 27, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via digital system with the participation of Minister of Agriculture Ch. Chetiyev and the khyakims (governors) of the velayats (provinces). During the meeting, the participants reviewed current seasonal agricultural operations in the regions, preparations for the upcoming wheat sowing campaign, care for cotton and vegetable crops, as well as the implementation of the National Rural Program. The heads of Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary velayats, alongside the Minister of Agriculture, delivered progress reports. Key operational focus areas include plowing and land leveling in preparation for the future wheat harvest, inter-row cultivation and pest control on cotton fields, and soil preparation for the autumn planting of potatoes and vegetable crops. The Head of State also emphasized the necessity of ensuring timely financial settlements between agricultural producers and service enterprises.

Summing up the reports, the President of Turkmenistan instructed officials to maintain strict control over compliance with agrotechnical standards, as well as the quality and timelines for the construction of social, cultural, and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning this year.
