On July 29, a bilateral meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Makhri Bashimova and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Vasil Shaykhraziev, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit. This was reported by the Press Service of the ministry.

The sides noted with satisfaction the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. During the meeting, special attention was paid to humanitarian relations based on common cultural and spiritual values. In this context, organizational matters regarding preparations for the final stage of the "Tatar Kyzy" contest, scheduled to take place in Turkmenistan in October this year, were reviewed.

The delegation led by Vasil Shaykhraziev, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, arrived in Turkmenistan on July 28 for a four-day working visit. According to the itinerary, the guests will visit the cities of Ashgabat and Turkmenbashi.

During the visit, meetings are planned between the Tatarstan delegation, Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bahar Seyidova, and Minister of Culture Gurbanmyrat Myradalyyev. The discussions will center on prospects for joint projects in education, tourism, and the preservation of historical and cultural heritage. The guests will also visit the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex.

On July 30, the delegation of Tatarstan will visit the city of Turkmenbashi, where they will meet with the Mayor of the city, Nyyazjan Nyyazjanov, and explore the facilities of the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone. The working visit of the Tatarstan partners to Turkmenistan will conclude on July 31.
