On July 29, National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with members of the National Equestrian Games Group «Galkynyş», who are preparing to participate in the World Equestrian Championship and the Akhal-Teke Horse Beauty Contest in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

During the conversation, Hero-Arkadag inquired about the training process, plans, and aspirations of the young riders, wishing them success and blessing them for new victories. It was emphasized that supporting the youth and comprehensive development of national equestrian art remain among the key priorities of state policy. On the initiative of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a State Organizing Committee was established to prepare for the participation of the Turkmen delegation in the upcoming international events.

At the same time, a Turkmen delegation led by Vice Premier Tangryguly Atahallyev is on a working visit to Kronenberg, Kingdom of the Netherlands. Representatives of Turkmenistan, together with foreign experts and horse breeders, are preparing the event venues, arranging their decoration in the national style, and coordinating organizational issues.
