Turkmen-Turkish cooperation talks held in Ashgabat

On July 29, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Gurbanov and Deputy Head of the Migration Management of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye Ramazan Seçilmiş. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks on July 29, 2026, the parties noted that brotherly relations between Turkmenistan and Türkiye continue to develop across the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. It was emphasized that contacts at the highest and high levels serve as a key factor in advancing interstate relations.

The participants paid primary attention to a detailed discussion of issues related to the further strengthening of the legal framework for cooperation, particularly in the field of migration. To this end, the sides reviewed draft relevant documents and expressed mutual intention to maintain active interaction and exchange of experience in this area.
