Young Turkmen athlete Aylin Nuryyeva won the gold medal at the Bukhara Region Open International Tennis Tournament for children under 9 years old (Orange Ball), held in Bukhara (Uzbekistan). This victory in the competition, organized under the International Tennis Federation's ITF Tennis 10s program, marked the first international trophy in the talented tennis player's career. This was reported by an online newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden age."

The tournament, hosted at the modern tennis complex in Bukhara under the auspices of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan and the Tennis Federation of the Bukhara region, featured 20 young athletes from Tashkent, Andijan, Nukus, Bukhara, and Turkmenistan. A key feature of the competition was that boys and girls competed together in a single group, which significantly raised the level of competition.

On her way to the championship title, Aylin Nuryyeva demonstrated great resilience and skill. In a tense semi-final against a competitor from Tashkent, while trailing 0:5 the Turkmen tennis player turned the match around, won six consecutive games, and sealed the victory with a score of 9:7. In the final match, the representative of Turkmenistan defeated her opponent from Uzbekistan with a confident score of 7:3, 7:3 to claim the main trophy.

Aylin Nuryyeva, a 4th-grade student at Secondary School No. 25 in Mary, trains under the guidance of coach Andrey Dovmatov. The young athlete's successful performance highlighted the growing potential of Turkmenistan's junior tennis school and opened new prospects for her international sports career.
