On July 30, a Turkmen-Chinese dialogue dedicated to the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was held in Beijing, the People's Republic of China (PRC). The event was jointly organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the PRC and the "China-Turkmenistan Business Council Ltd." organization. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The dialogue was attended by Turkmen diplomats, student youth, representatives of China's scientific, public, and business circles, including leaders of research centers from Lanzhou and Qinghai Universities, the Gansu Academy of Social Sciences, and representatives of the China International Peace Foundation.

Opening the event, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China Parahat Durdyyev acquainted the attendees with the systematic work carried out in the country within the framework of tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan and Hero Arkadag to conduct the Halk Maslahaty meeting at a high level. The speech also highlighted Turkmenistan's economic achievements, social policy, and areas of strategic cooperation between the two countries. Particular pride was emphasized regarding the adoption of the Resolution titled "2028 - International Law Year" by the UN at Turkmenistan's initiative, and China's co-authorship of this document.

During the meeting, Chinese experts, including Professor Wang Sihai, Ms. Ma Xiaoai, and others, gave speeches highly praising the high achievements and future goals of Turkmen-Chinese relations in this historic year celebrating the glorious 35th anniversary of Sacred Independence.
