On July 31st, in the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan, the conference «Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan – a perfect model of democracy and unity» took place. Organized jointly with the Halk Maslakhaty, the Mejlis, and public organizations of the country, the event was dedicated to preparation for the representative forum – an important public-political event in the life of the Fatherland, proceeding from the valuable advice and tasks on conducting the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan at a high level, set by Hero-Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
Those who spoke emphasized that preparation for the forum is being conducted in accordance with the tasks outlined by the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Hero-Arkadag on organizing the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty at a high level, and also for the purpose of fulfilling the resolutions of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan on convening the meeting and creating an Organizational Committee to ensure its conduct at a high level.
The inclusion of the Halk Maslakhaty into the structure of state power of Turkmenistan thanks to the efforts of Hero-Arkadag became a visual demonstration of the fact that this body serves as a national model of state governance and democracy. Having turned into one of the effective structures of civil society, the Halk Maslakhaty in the new historical epoch strengthened its positions as the main public-political body, brightly expressing the cohesion of the state and the people, unity of goals and commonality of views on the path of development.
In the course of the conference, it was emphasized that the deeply meaningful speech of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag at the meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan on July 15th gave inspiration to our people, and in it were defined the tasks to ensure the harmonious development of the country and the prosperous life of citizens. This is a visual confirmation of the fact that large-scale work for the prosperity of the Fatherland, reaching new heights of its development, and raising the living standard of our people will be successfully continued.
At present, the democratic transformations conducted in the country have received a qualitatively new impulse. These reforms rely on rich national and world experience in the matter of further democratization of the state and society in the new historical epoch, adherence to the glorious path of ancestors, governance of the country, and ensuring the participation of broad layers of the population in making important public-political decisions.
In this regard, those who spoke noted that the historic meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, which will take place on September 23, 2026, in the «Maslahat köşgi» Palace of Ashgabat city, will become a triumph of state independence, cohesion, unity, and also an important event in the life of the country.
As was noted, the civic duty of each of us is to take an active part in the implementation of the great undertakings of Arkadagly Hero Serdar and Hero-Arkadag, directed toward the achievement by the Turkmen state of new heights of development, and the making of a worthy contribution to these matters. The participants of the conference emphasized that the instructions of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, voiced at the recent meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty, oblige [us] to properly execute them.
In this regard, those who spoke assured that, guided by the valuable advice of Hero-Arkadag and the adopted decisions of Arkadagly Hero Serdar on conducting the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan at a high level, they will apply all efforts to organize the nationwide forum at a high level. Those gathered expressed to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people wishes of strong health, longevity, uninexhaustible energy, and successes in state activity in the name of the well-being of the people and the prosperity of the Fatherland!
In the same day, in the «Altyn ýyldyz» cultural-entertainment center in Ashgabat, a festive sadaka was given in honor of the glorious events that will be written in golden letters into the history of the sovereign country in the year «Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses».
The sadaka is dedicated to conducting at a high organizational level the next meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, the glorious 35th anniversary of the great independence of our sovereign Fatherland, the unanimous support of the proposal to name the mosque being erected in Arkadag city on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, designed for 30 thousand people, «Arkadagyň ruhy metjidi», and also the successful fulfillment by the grain growers of the country of planned obligations on harvesting more than 1 million 400 thousand tons of wheat.
In the course of the sadaka, the «tebärek» prayer was read, and after the meal – ayahs and tovirs. The participants raised prayers for the well-being of our Homeland, cohesion of the people, and for abundance, as well as for strong health and longevity of Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, unchanged successes in their noble activity in the name of the bright future of the country.
