On August 1, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular Government meeting via digital system. Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov reported to the Head of State on the performance of the construction and industrial complex for January–July 2026. During the reporting period, the plan for production and services rendered across the sector was fulfilled at 123.9 percent. This was reported by the electronic newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden Age».
By sector, the plan was completed at 103.9 percent by the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, 127 percent by the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, and 108.9 percent by the Ministry of Energy. Furthermore, the Ministry of Highways executed its target plan at 108.3 percent, the "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern at 135 percent, and the Ashgabat City Administration at 127.5 percent.
After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of taking effective measures to bring enterprises in the construction and industrial sector to their full design capacity, as well as maintaining strict control over the construction and maintenance of highways. The Head of State instructed the Vice-Chairman to ensure that new buildings and facilities are constructed to high standards and commissioned on schedule.
